I found this place and think I may be onto something here, it is quiet and relaxed, yet serious enough to help me do what is necessary to lose some weight.  With Mark's help at Edgewater Fitness Center I can lose what I need to, period !

Down to 425lb, from over 450lbs , but need to do much better and lose much much more, but this will be done in time. Come join me if you dare.

NOT , making the progress I need to

I was thankful for the holiday's, hope you were too. Start early and do it with friends and it will last a life time. The power of prayers is tremendous, thou not always the answers you want, but never let that discourage you, always keep the faith.

My weight battle is fighting back, but I must overcome the the most rididculous of things to beat this , I must leaarn to eat my veggies, yes eat my veggies.  I do tthis and then nothing will stop me, so how do I overcome this, any idea's ??

5 days into October, what a ride too!!!

Well , I had a few minor issues happen to me , both put a scare into me, yes a scare. 1st , was a pulled muscle in my lower back that I was unable to move for a few hours, and then took me 3-4 days to be up and moving normally again, but not being able to move without that pain was scary, which is why I wish to go slow and not do what I should not do.

2nd , was a Belly Button Hernia that was dormant for the last few years, has become painful overnight, after doing a few classes at the YMCA, which I immediately stopped doing, and it seems the pain is now gone, but so is my money I sent on 3 months of  dues, that now may go to waste, Dag Nabbit!!

Otherwise all is well and I am down from over 450 to 437lbs, happy times are coming, putting my socks on and .... will be a breeze again, and I am still not Type II Diabetic either, a miracle , for which I am truly grateful for.

October is here and my journey begins in earnst !

This is a current picture, you could call it the before picture, and hopefully if all goes well, I will never be this big again, never!!!!

This  is where the journey begins, with a few classes a day, taking 1 step at a time, and until the pool is closed for the winter and extra class 4 days a week, I will let you know how this journey goes, and will post the vital's soon enough, stuff like size and weight.

 1 thing I could ask for is the prayers of any willing to send them, I know the power of prayer works and would very appreciative of any sent my way.

On the Road Again

Well Maybe not pee on, but moving to Florida to begin my journey to lose weight. I will begin posting again and try to keep it up daily and not sure about a picture each day, but when I get to Florida I will post a few crude pictures of me before I begin my journey, yes big fat ugly pictures of me , showing my belly, IF I CAN GET IT ALL IN THE PICTURE!

I think this is good advice, and will try to practice it, hopefully it will make my life more fun and enjoyable, stay tuned to see if it will.

A Time for a Change is near, again

I had fun this day, but look at how big the guy in the red shirt is, Good Lord !!

I have been offered a chance to get out fo the truck and have some friends help me to get healthy again, a sorta Fat Camp, and it is in Florida, what more can I do but say yes. This may take me at least 4-6 months , if not longer, but it will get me out the truck, as I am now gaining again, even after what I did last winter, sad I know.

While my employers are fantastic, I am slowly killing myself if I stay in the truck and keep gaining more weight, a change is necessary, if not absolutely required.

I will also detail my journey when it begins this Fall, Oct/Nov, as I must first make enough money to pay for this adventure, roughly 2500 for 6 months, minimum.

That is alot for me to get all at once, but this year I will get $$ from IRS , after years of paying to get even, I am even and will get money back this year, this will help.

Also I must pray my car makes it to Florida too, it should, but...

Arlington Park, June 22-24

This coming journey into Chicago may be shaping up as the little kitty here walking in fronts of all the dogs, it is either crazy or 1 brave cat, and with me going to gahtering of old Chi-town horse players and many of whom probally wish I not show up and force myself upon them, as a few already did suggest, but that makes me want to be the kitty all the more.

This gathering could be just pure fun, with a chance to hit a nice trifecta or pick 3 or 4 and end up paying for the whole weeknd too, while going out and eating Red Meat, hand cut, and then another night maybe going Seafood or Italian .

Preakness week

Dullahan, since I'll Have Another can not use his Nasal Strip, he may end up dead last, what will NYRA come up with next, a delayed starting gate, for winners of the other 2 legs of the Triple Crown Races.

I may be doing the Preakness at AP, or maybe the great state of North Dakota , not really sure yet, as I must arrange my schedule to fit going to a get together in Arlington Park the 22-24 of June, why not go, they got great racing and afterwards great food , what more do I need, and yet there may be a few people who might not be favorites of mine, thou I seriously doubt that will bother me too much, as there will be lots of fun to be had.

Hitting a Trifecta or 2 to pay for the outing will always be a bonus to be proud of, and 1 that I have been able to do lately, so having booked my room already at the Marriot, and I got a great deal too, leaving me much dinero to eat out and have fun with.

I may meet one of my most enjoyable Track TV personality Jessica Pacheco, she to me is so fun to watch, rather in sunny Florida or up in Chicago she is a very good part of a 2 person team of handicappers who entertain us between races and sometimes give us a live long shot in the process.

ASD, do you have it?

I am not sure what ASD is, but some people have it, I do not have it, when I went up North to Winnipeg in Canada, to visit the track, it was raining and the track was muddy.

People I set myself up to see did not show up to me, not that I was hard to find, but none-the-less I had fun and ate well enough.

I am curious now what ASD is, please explain this to me, I feel sorry now and must add ya to my prayer list.

I went to ASD for the Preakness race, and saw a great race, had a lonely time, but still the people there were nice, the room at Howard Johnsons was not, Next time maybe Motel 6 or stay closer to airport, for a nicer place. I am taking a week or 2 off from racing and letting my mind relax a bit.  I am on the road thruput the Ohio Valley and upper Northeast, as well as Upper Midwest. Pictures will come soon, like I said I have been busy mentally and not able to keep up here,

After the Derby, what to do with all the money ??

1500 tri , hit a few times, and then 3 different dollar exacta's on smaller tickets, but no big ticket wins, like the super, or picks 3's or pick 4's that had 5 digit payouts, nope I played them but did not include the 19 on top in too many wagers , nope , but I did have him underneath on many of the keys bets , for which I had the 5 and 6 as my keys, both 1st and 2nd, , and even 3rd in tri's, the super was too pricey to do that way, and since neither key won the race , then I was out of luck for that one.

My keys were gotten by using RDSS, as this program is the best out there , both were extremely strong plays, and both horse's gave very strong performances too, I really thought Dullahan was the best and would nip Bodemiester at the wire, and well I almost had it right, except the 19 got there first, and of course he did win the Santa Anita Derby, and thus should be considered a major contender, not just a secondary contender as I had him, oh well, still did okay, but no life changing event, did pay for my Saratoga visit already with the winnings, so happiness this summer is already in the bag, Yes sireee... fun in the sun at the Spa !!

RDSS Kills the Derby this year

Well this year the Derby has come and gone, and while I did not hit the 48 thousand dollar superfecta, mostly in part, due to my not playing it, this year was a race too wide open, as we had 8 true contenders, out of 20 horses, kinda like 4 out of a normal 10 horse race, except this was a 20 horse race.  On the PaceandCap.com website I posted the following picks, both regular and off track picks too, while the track was fast my 8 horse's did include the top 4 finisher's, while my 2 key horse's were just that very good key's to have as they both made it into the super, not bad if I say so myself.

Biggest Horse Racing Day of the year, May 5th.

Can you remember where you were when Secretariat won the Triple Crown in 1973 ?

I know Affirmed also won in 1978, but not like Old Red, and yes there were a few close calls, none closer than Smarty Jones in 2004. Now, Real Quiet , Silver Charm and Sunday Silence, won the 1st two legs and 2nd in the Belmont but like Zenyatta's loss to Blame, you almost felt like ol Smarty deserved a little more respect, but Ghotzapper won Horse of the Year, oh well , just a little horstory for y'all

Will Dullahan win it this year, or Daddy Long Legs, or Bodemeister, I doubt it, with the new rules and lack of medications that were allowed then and are not now, I seriously think we may never see another Triple Crown winner, unless NY lightens up a bit... but we all know NYRA is NYRA.

Buffalo Raceway, this is where I will watch the Kentucky Derby, in Hamburg, NY.

I will be the guy with wheel-barrow full money, going into the track, if you know anyone in need of a wheel-barrow for real cheap, let me know, lol.

2 weeks to go for the 1st Saturday in May

Well it seems I am making my way to the Buffalo area this year for Derby weekend, thou I know things can get changed, but for now I have reservations set and I look  forward to the fun and enjoyment of this wonderful Amercian day, but also remember it is also Cinco De Mayo too, so respect to our Mexican neighbors as they celebrate the day too, here's to making sure everyone has the designated drivers set up before the festivities begin, and everybody gets home safely, this is very important , seriosly !!

Where to be for the Derby?

A few years ago I was in Buffalo for the Derby, but I can not remember who it was I was with, but do remember it was at the Buffalo Raceway, for sure, nice quiet place, had a fine time and then went on to Saratoga a few days later. was looking to do Presque Isle Downs, but my gawd what outrages prices, and the clubhouse they say is booked solid, leaving a fancy Steak House for the overflow, but at 50.00 a person and then you onyl get a few hours, 2-3 to 6-7 , oh well not this year for sure. 

Then there is the possibility of Fort Erie over on the enemies side of the river, just kidding, I have been there and it was beautiful and the people were too, but Derby and me have been sorta kind to each other lately, but never too giving, money wise, yet!!!

If the guy from Buffalo reads this please send me a message and maybe we can do a rendevous again, or at least stop by and say hi, if you already are booked that day.  I remember you were a Buggy player and the buggies will be running this day, i'll need to pay for my room and dinner, hint hint, lol.

Oh well back to work , hopefully anyone from Buffalo area wanting to meet up May 5th, let me know, Finger Lakes and Saratoga were also possibilities, Batavia Downs, but they had no clue about the Derby or have anything special going on, sad, oh well!

Last Year's digs in the Spa

It seems the Strangles Situation has the Saratoga season delayed a bit , as horses will not be allowed at the track or horsemen till next week sometime, due to the harness track  strangles issue, sad situation, but at least they are be cautious and who can blame them as they are right next to each others up there, well we can pray the situation is under control and all cleared up when they come rolling in later next week, and I have heard this year many many more people will be coming in early this year, and bigger purses are nice too, but this is Saratoga, where last year the big thing was if it was going to happen, now no issue's and more horse and bigger purse's, what a difference a year makes, huh, and to think I thouhgt bad of NYRA, how dare me, they showed me...

This was the house where I stayed last summer in Saratoga, and I am not sure about where I am staying this year, but it seems the anonymous person seems to have info about the place, but I am unaware of my time there, and may not be showing up till July or so, maybe July-Sept, say about 3 months max, maybe a little less. I plan to work till end of May or mid July before I come to Saratoga, as it is not a cheap place to stay and enjoy, but it definitely a fun and safe place to go for a summer, for sure....gotta run , on the road again and have 2 more hrs to go before the day ends, take care all

1st weekend off, after starting work again

This will be the site I will see over and over again when I go on the road, as we fill up at the Pilot's and Flying J's , they do have great Coffee , hot dogs 2 for 2.22  and plenty of Fast Foods, and the J's all have a Denny's in them, boy do I hate them, wish they were Perkin's or IHOP's anything but Denny's, even Waffle House's would be better.

 I am mostly staying East of I-29 and North I-10/I-20 about 1500 miles out , maybe a little less , unload and then come back, actually pretty nice job here, ad the Company is the best I ever worked for, Britton Transport, we all have Brand New Volvo's, with automatic's, refridgerator, and Auxillary Power Units and Satellite Radio, and a fancy seat that gives you a consatnt massage as you drive along. Where were these guys 15 years ago, when I was hurting out there trying to find a home, oh well I am here now, with the exception of having the late summer off to go to Saratoga Springs again to work at the track with BEST again this year, then most likely back here for the winter, yeah that sounds nuts to me also, wintering in North Dakota, who does that anyway.

Now this is a way to make your life less stressful by actually doing this, but it will take some of the fun of picking on some people away , but then I guess a litlle back sliding may be okay, especially when done in fun , fun for you that is.

New week and ready for the real world again, are you?

It seems that this week in the PA contest I am doing okay, in the top 5 in two contest's and was ranked 1st of 1200 or so in Cap2win.com, not a bad weekend.

 Wish they would all be this easy, but like most of the time they are not, I have been on the bottom a few weeks too, and then the next week I rebound, kinda like life, up and down.  I am not sure I can keep up the full court press in these contest's , as I must go back out on the road driving again, so my time will e limited again, guess time will tell.

I will start taking picture's on the road again and will try to get them up here once or twice a week, I am worried a bit about going back on the road with gaining weight again, pray for me that , that will not happen, please.

It seemed that my selection of pacelines were good enough, and then I went back to the days of handicapping before computers, and looked individually at each horse, and with 3 yr olds you must look for improvements, bounce's and intentions, not always that clear to see, but when they are they normally pay off to those looking for it.

I Like the 7 horse and agree maybe Jim is giving you a heads up, but within the RDSS I do not get the 7 , thou it is hard to leave him out of the mix, he did nothing wrong and getting better each time out.

I keep coming back to 5/2/7 as yet 2 and 7 both do not make it into the final cut in RDSS, so do I bet the program which last year did me well.

The program is giving me 6/9/5/10 as top contenders to focus on.

The 2 is a perfect bounced horse, last race was the bounce, and hopefully back n stride now, tough to throw out if true.

Both 7 and 10 are 2nd time out winners and improving , question how much improvement this time, both are quality horses, so how to distuingish the top 3 horse's for one contest and the winner for another.

 The brackets will start appearing soon and everyone will fill one out and hope for the best, are you one of those people, I have become one, yes I have.

  I had Florida a few years back during their back to back Championships, but then I am partial to the state of Florida, Gators, Seminole's and Hurricanes, they all used to be the teams to beat, now they have fallen to wayside and makes me have to reminisce.

Seems my capping skills are getting rusty lately, I guess time off for awhile may be a good thing, as working will be a full-time thing very soon , or else I will be back on the streets.

 I may be having a foreign visitor soon, hope not, as i am not ready yet for , but guess that does not matter, she may come anyway,  but maybe it will be okay anyway, who knows with her, 50/50...

 This is just a post to get the other one off the top , but please read thru it and digest it, then go out and make your own decisions, that is all I ask.

 Yesterday I posted about NEWPACE a product that to me cost me money when I tried using it, 3 bankrolls lost very quickly, and yes they can be documented thru Twinspires, the wagers and the loss of the bankrolls, and thou the test was done with all intentions being that I would win, but when I did not , all hell broke loose and well my downfall from the software developers point of view was that I am an idiot and did not use his product right, and yet others too have done studies showing the same results as me, they are still around, I am have moved on, and less 3 bankrolls for trusting this guy with my money, and also buying his products too over and over and over, because we all know he keeps selling and selling, the new and improved things that did not not work the first time so we need to tweak them, but enough about this.

 I found a home with another software program RDSS2 and I am happy there, it is easy to use and cost effective too, not such a large amount of money to buy and the data each month is so much cheaper too, and can be bought on a pay as you go basis, so if you play 3 cards this month you pay for 3 cards, now if you wish to play all tracks , all month long then you can get unlimited and save even more, Perfect set up for me, and so fun to use and most important to me it is color coded for ease of use and easy on the eyes, please try it , I beg of you, tell me I sent you, it is free to try, what do you have yo lose, nothing, and I promise you this if you need help learning it I will help you, yes personally I will help you, thou the software developer is also available for you too, all the time , and he is awesome, and you get a forum to discuss things and post about the program and and people there are so nice and helpful, it is like 1 big happy family, come by and see for yourself, at paceandcap.com, then let me know what you think, tell me I am crazy and this software sucks, and how could you ask us to try it, but believe me that will not happen , I promise, you will enjoy it and it works .

So do not be like the guy from NEWPACE, who keeps selling you the next best thing, come over to where the best thing is, and see for yourself the people and programs available to you, I truly love it, and you will too, I am sure of it

Winter is still here and we are going under a BLIZZARD waring for Tuesday and Wednesday, yet in Saratoga at the Oklahoma track workouts are begining again soon, I will miss the early morning workouts, they were something to watch the last 2 years, especially on the misty mornings.

 Now I have some issues I wish to clear up about something that has reared it's ugly head again, Newpace A product from someone who I had some great times and awesome dealing with, how it got so far out of hand is beyond me, we both seem to be hard headed individuals, one being all about his business and products and the next sale, and then me I am all about finding a product that would give me an edge in handicapping, which to me was a software product that would make it somewhat easier to find some  values and plays from learing the program and deciding how to properly interpret the data spit out form the program, something that was not as easy as it sounds, not with his stuff , anyway.

I did a study using his proudct at Saratoga mind you and posted the daily results on a forum for all to see, and the results were horredndous, so much so that I was banned by this guy for posting this study, and I was wondering what would have happened if the product gave out some awesome winners instead fo losing everyday, would I have beeen banned, NO, I WOULD HAVE BEEN EMBRACED AND USED AS A SELLING POINT FOR HIS PRODUCT, too bad his product did not produce winners, and then he did something we call REDBOARDING , when he did a seminar and instead of using what he always have in his seminars, he picked the only day that Newpace produced a winner or 2, at Saratoga, anyone who has listened to one of his seminars can attest to this, as he makes it clear what day he uses for handicapping during the seminar,  the same day always , except this time, you be the judge if this cherry picking, yet he is praised as the next best thing, people to me are so gullible, and wish to find the next thing that will help them win, and though he has come out with some good stuff, he never stops selling A BETTER VERSION, NEWER AND IMPROVED, wasn't the first one good enough, guess not.

 I gotta run  now, but this is my blog and I will continue it later, but I do hope this guy well and wish him no ill will at all, he gave me alot of his time, I was even a guest at his house, met his family, trusted him completely and was impressed with his confidence, but then I am easily fooled, but with him I was really disappointed ....

Starting Over , or Giving Up ??

This how I feel sometimes , wonderful and awesome, for I have came a long way , but then from out of no where I get these thoughts and  I somehow end up not doing the very simple little things, like drink water, eat lunch, have a snack, which I seem to feel I will overcome , as it is my true desire to do this, and no matter how simple or hard it will be , I am determined to make , as I will always get back up and keep trying, my life depends on it, my happiness and my health are in my own hands .

While the above is true , you are always capapble of change, is it easy Hell No, but since when is anything worth while easy? Bad habits are able to be beaten down, new habits and healthier ways are possible, thru persisitence and plenty of patience, trust me on this one !!

Man, I can't catch a break, but hey everyone is entitled to their opinion

It seems that is 100lbs of FAT, and I only need to lose 2 of those piles, and yet I have only lost 1/2 of 1 pile since I started this extremely determined journey in Dec 2011, about 40 some lbs.

 Do i get frustrated and stray off course , ABSOLUTELY I DO, but i get back on a stay with it because I am determined to get to 375 by end of February, maybe under that a bit.

 I could use all the prayers you can send my way, because they work, I know they do, they got me this far and helped keep away Diabetes and all the other issues with obese people, except Sleep Apnea, which I will take over diabetes any day.

 I can remember when I was 505lbs, and could not wipe properly after doing my business., not being able to put socks and shoes on, all of which I can do easily enough now, but because of hard dieting and now excersising too, is it easy HECK NO.

 And yet it could be better and quicker resultsa if I could keep to the simple plan, very simple plan.

  EAT RIGHT , YES SO SIMPLE , YET I STILL DO NOT DO THIS CORRECTLY, WHY???

    #1.   I am close , but still skip snacks and lunch too often, a major no no.

 #2.   Drink enough water each day, about 64oz, yet some days I barely drink 32oz's, WHY?

 #3   I still do not eat veggie's, and this bother's me, yet progress is the same , I try them and they are still making me puke, stupid and crazy, yet true, pray for me in this, please!!!

If you can do this , ya wouldn't be like me

                    The question is can I become this person and do these things, could you?

Sometimes they say if you have an inner voice they lock you up and throw away thekey, am I wrong??

 I have lost some more weight and my workout are getting more intense, maybe too much, yes too much and the last thing I need is to get injured and be hobbled , but then again I don't want to be a puzzy either, so I need to find a fine line of right on the edge, any one got idea's?
